| Review: | Mediocre about sums it up. I was really looking forward to my weekend sailing course but was a bit let down by MSS. They seem to be more like a get em in get em out type of outfit teaching tons of people each weekend. The classroom component was ok and I was excited to get out on a boat on Saturday, until I actually got on the boat with the four other people. The cockpit (new sailing jargon) was extremely cramped and the instructor even made comments about how there were too many people on board for comfort. All of us banged our knees and got bruised up. The sailing was fun but the instructor a bit of a bore - I also found it weird how he said he didn't even have any real sailing credentials!? 10 hours a day was waaaayyyy too much. Anyway all in all okay. I feel like if I were to do this again I would look elsewhere - maybe somewhere a bit more personal. |
