| Review: | Outstanding Sailing Location This course was perfect for me in the terms of cost and instruction. For an eight day course, covering three certifications, plus the free live-aboard option, I couldn't have found a better program for the money. The special rate given for that month allowed me to take the course, because other courses were just out of reach for me cost-wise. Great instructors too, especially when letting the students handle the boats. I appreciated that since I'm a hands-on learner and not a book study. The location was also nice too, since I'd never been there before. This 'working' vacation is something I will never forget. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Great experience even for teens I and my 14 year old son decided to get bareboat certifications and locally, we had a choice between Pacific Yachting and other schools in Berkley and further north. For the money, we found that Pacific Yachting was the best value and the most flexible in terms of our needs. We were able to schedule the lessons around our weekend and we were able to have the complete boating experience by sleeping on the boat. It was great to woken up by seals were splashing around outside the boat some mornings. We were trusted with the boat and didn't have people checking up on us all the time which would have made it a nightmare. There are great restaurants nearby which made breakfast and dinner a treat. Over the 8 days, we had three different instructors which turned out to be very valuable because they each added their own flavor and experience. The continuity was there and we didn't feel like anyone dropped the ball. The instructors were really professional and, more importantly, very patient. Both my son and I feel like we learned a wealth of information in a short time and left the program with confidence that we can handle a boat under ideal and non-ideal circumstances. I highly recommend Pacific Yachting to those that want to take a positive step toward becoming sailors. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Pacific Yachting and Sailing Excellent course! Lots of fun and great instruction. The coast of Santa Cruz is amazing. It is well worth it just to be able to get out on the water for 8 days of sailing, let alone acquiring skills that you will have for a lifetime. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Pacific Yachting is great I had an excellent experience taking sailing lessons at Pacific Yachting and Sailing. The teachers were very patient. I began with a fear of the ocean and left feeling very confident and able to sail a boat (and enjoying it!) Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Better late than never! The course I took presented Basic Keelboat Sailing, Basic Coastal Cruising and Bareboat Chartering (ASA 101 - 104) in 8 full days, sailing 8 hours/day, using three boats from a 27' Santa Cruz racing boat with a tiller to a our live aboard 32' Catalina sloop, included in the price of the course. Instruction was provided by two excellent Captains, each with decades of knowledge and experience. I think the different styles of Captain Forest and Captain Frank provided unique perspectives that enhanced my understanding of the art of sailing. I also enjoyed the challenge of big Pacific wind and water off Santa Cruz, CA, on a few of the normally ideal sailing days. I and my babydoll are now looking forward to taking our grandson out on a chartered bareboat in southwest Florida to introduce him to our new found fun, and to bareboat chartering in the Carribean.
