| Review: | Excellent Sailing School Experience I took a beginning sailing course at another Bay Area school a couple of years ago, but I never really felt that confident so I didn't sail too much afterward. But I really wanted to learn to sail, so I did a lot of research, and finally decided on J World. They were slightly more expensive than other schools, but their classes were a bit longer, and you actually got to spend more of the time sailing. Plus they had a stellar reputation. And what a difference. The instructors were extremely good (they hailed from all around the country, and were truly professional grade!). The boats were much newer and far better to sail. And the level of detail and personal attention was fantastic. I really felt like they wanted to help me learn... Now I am comfortable sailing on my own, and have been having an absolute blast. My wife will be taking a class with them this summer, and then we hope to eventually get our cruising certifications with them at their Puerto Vallarta location... I love the fact that they offer a full range of courses and trips too. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Much More Than I expected I was in the Bay Area on business and planned to stay an extra weekend to sharpen my sailing skills. I had heard of J World on the East Coast, so I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed, Travis, my instructor was paitient, and while young of age could communicate with this old fart very well. I must admit the J80 is one high performance boat , and after spendeing two full days on the water I was exhausted, but very pleased. It almost seemed like I had more fun, than learning, but I walked away (barely) feeling a lot more confident about being out on the water. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | New J World in prime location Just took a "Performance Cruising" course at the new J World facility at Pier 39 on the San Francisco waterfront. The course was great, the instructors were extremely knowledgeable, and they have hit a home-run with the new office location. It is right in the middle of San Francisco Bay... Comments [ 0 ] |
