Club Rio Rocks
I have never sailed before, but it has been a lifelong dream, so it was important to me to get a good start with a really good sailing school. After researching all the SF Bay Area schools, I finally went with Club Rio, the only sailing school located in the Delta. So far, I have taken their ASA Basic Keel Boat course and their Coastal Cruising course and they were both excellent. Alan’s wealth of knowledge and experience along with his laid back teaching style make for a perfect combination. The classes were small, fun, and chocked full of practice time. I highly recommend Club Rio and I can’t wait to take their Bareboat Charter course later this year. After that, who knows, the Caribbean or maybe even the Mediterranean.
