Teaches competence and confidence
I have been around Tradewinds for about 15 years as a student, member and boat owner. Obviously I have been happy with it or I wouldn't have stuck around. Tradewinds teaches you to become a good sailor in the often challenging conditions of San Francisco Bay. People are nice and friendly and know what they are doing. Some of the fleet is older but well maintained. Likewise, the offices/classroom is fine but not fancy -but its all about the boats, isn't it? As I boat owner, I feel confident with members using my boat because Tradewinds does a good job making sure people know what they're doing. The cost can't be beat. |
