Great Place to Learn
I have taken several courses with Tradewinds and have found the instructors excellent - very competent sailors with lots of knowledge and experience to impart. They have high standards and are also supportive. I have learned so much from the teachers and fellow sailors whom I've met through the club. I've now chartered boats for family vacations and it's opened up a whole new world and created many fond memories for my family. To be a "fleet" member is the best deal around - you can sail every day for less than what many clubs charge per rental. This way, you learn faster too. One way they keep the price lower than other clubs is that they have more older boats, but they keep them well maintained. The staff are friendly and always welcoming, helpful and encouraging. I'm grateful to TW for making it possible for me to sail. |
