Review: Midweek BKB class
Online searches of the many schools located in the S.F. bay area led me to Tradewinds. Based on the cost, class size, location to my home, positive reviews from many past and present students and vast number of instructors available I chose Tradewinds. I was not disappointed. The instructor for my class was the 2006 ASA Instructor of the Year! Great way to start a class in my opinion. Skills were taught and all 3 students had ample opportunity to learn and question Ed, our instructor, on any sailing topic we chose. Felt very comfortable on the boat performing any of the drills Ed asked me to do at the end of the three day class. Wind was never a problem on the bay as there was always a good blow. Who wants to learn to sail in light winds? Overcast mornings turned into beautiful afternoons of sunny 75 degree afternoons, 30 degrees cooler than my home in the valley. Hated to leave every day. Would recommend Tradewinds heartily to anyone interested in learning to sail
