| Review: | Awesome school!! The Tradewinds Sailing School staff are very helpful, encouraging and "student-centered." The variety of knowledgeable and experienced sailors who serve as instructors adds to the learning experience. I am just starting to learn how to sail but Robert McReary (sp) was the best instructor so far! I think it is great that they have a woman instructor; I plan to enroll in one of her classes. I also like the location of the school because you don’t have to search for parking as the lot adjacent to the school is very handy, has lots of parking spaces, a café and other attractions. The boats at Point Richmond and Richmond Marina, are quickly accessible by I-580 off the Marina Parkway or Point Richmond area. I think having a family-run business has added that extra-touch, making Tradewinds Sailing School and Club a great experience. | Review: | Great Sailing School and Club It has been my dream to sail and Tradewinds has enabled me to fulfill them. I have taken several courses with Tradewinds and the instructors are knowledgeable and patient especially if your man overboard is "lost". | Review: | Look no further than Tradewinds Living in SF there are many choices for sailing schools. The Tradewinds marina is easy to get to, the staff are patient & well-informed, and the school administration (family-run) really want you to sail. The boat rentals are affordable (imagine that) and they do lots of free activities each month as well. If you qualify, don't miss out on the Ladies classes and monthly sail! | Review: | women sail course I took the women's sailing class and liked it a lot, it is taught by a woman. She is very calm, no yelling. I would highly recommend it to any one who needs a patient approach to learning. Comments [ 0 ] |
