Some of these instructors are really irritating.
I've been sailing since I was twelve. I found one of the instructors treated students like navy plebes. Other instructors wanted me to do maneuvers to a degree of perfection that they could not demonstrate or accomplish. Obsessive-compulsive. My brother who successfully raced for years had instructors trying to belittle him. There are some good instructors; but find a club that treats you with respect. |
