| Review: | Night Passage, Celestial Navigation, all in one What attracted me most about what the School of Ocean Sailing offers is the total flexibility and willingness to adapt their course to my previous sailing experience. I lacked the confidence of sailing at night. So I decided to spent 8 days aboard Samana and signed up for their Celestial Navigation with/night sail class. I NEVER expected I could learn so much in 8 days. For me, the high light of the trip was entering Saint Thomas Harbor at 3 AM. What an eye opener !! Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Students come first at the School of Ocean Sailing The students come first aboard the Samana. Larry's ability to adjust to the student's vast range of sailing experience level show's he has been in a classroom for a long time. The School of Ocean Sailing's curriculum far exceeded my expectations. Six students that did not know each other left as friends after the eight days. I still keep in touch with every one. Some of us have gotten together and chartered a boat since the class. Oh, and the food is definitely not hard tack. I don't know how Larry and Letty can process it all.
