best beginners school
we spent all day, every day on the water; we were only 4 newbies (they only take 4 on board!) so we all worked our butts off, but this meant we were super relaxed and confident as the week progressed. The instructor was there but didn't make us feel like dummies, just explained what to do and why, let us make mistakes and learn from them. the Saint Lawrence River there is big and bad! Tides wind and currents, mixed with some pretty impressive waves, and we knew we were getting a sailing experience to earn our stripes. No matter what, I had a holiday I will never forget! |
