Review: Amazing Week of Sailing!
Pat is a very experienced and patient instructor! She is kind, supportive and pushed me to go out of my comfort zone, which I loved! She has a great sense of humor as well! I learned so much in just one week! Her boat Seabisquit is beautiful! The BVI is the perfect place to learn to sail. I highly recommend her sailing school without any reservations! Great memories that I will cherish forever!

Review: Patient, Knowledgeable, and Professional
I'm very happy with my decision to certify through Sistership Sailing School. Pam is wonderful and Captain Judy was knowledgeable beyond my expectations. With her guidance, I was able to "sail through" the first three ASA levels in a week! The tests are difficult enough; choosing them is a no-brainer. Do your grey matter a favor and book with them.

Review: great couples course.
If you're anything like me, you know that learning with your spouse can be difficult sometimes. Judy with Sistership did an excellent job in helping us both gain command of what we needed to do and learn in order to enjoy and share our time on the water together. Wonderful week! If you want to sail, you need to call them.

Review: Can't get the smile off my face!
What an experience-- Captain Pat is a great teacher, always looking for the 'teachable moment' throughout the week. She is thorough and competent. That she is an engaging person and great cook enhanced our exoerience with her in the British Virgins Islands. I am confident in my newly acquired sailing skills and grateful to Sistership for the excellent instruction.

Review: It can't get any better than this!
Pat Nolan and Sistership Sailing School present a wonderful sailing school experience. We have told several people how exceptional the sailing school was. I was at the edge of my comfort zone. Pat was very helpful, encouraging but not intrusive, and allowed us to go at our own pace. I doubt that we would have been able to accomplish so much (ASA 101, 103, 104) in so little time (in 6 days) had we been with another school, had a different instructor, or had other students with us. I truly feel that learning in the safe and structured environment of a live aboard sailing school is the superior way to learn. We spoke with others who captained boats based on previous experience but I just think that having a mentor help one learn the appropriate way to do something is better than learning by making mistakes with someone else’s boat or not learning the safest, most efficient way to do something.
The BVI was a great place in which to sail and learn. The weather was perfect and the seas just right.

Review: Outstanding Instructor; Amazing Experience
Pat Nolan is an outstanding instructor. She is patient, through, encouraging and determined to see that you learn what you need to know and master the skills you need to sail safely and well. Her boat, Seabiscuit, is in excellent condition and it makes a great classroom. The small size of her classes means that she is able to give each student individual attention. She is also passionately committed to teaching women to sail, and that comes through in her teaching. If you are a woman who wants to learn to sail, Pat is the teacher you want!
